LEGAZPI CITY — Authorities recovered P4,080,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in Naga City in Camarines Sur on Tuesday night.

Naga City police said in a report that the suspect, identified as “Jake,” 42, sold a sachet of suspected shabu worth P100,000 to an undercover agent in Barangay (village) Concepcion Pequeña at around 8:15 p.m.

"This series is not just about the two teams playing; it's about reviving the spirit of hockey in Delhi. We hope this will inspire more young players from the region to take up the game," Harmanpreet stated in a press release issued by Hockey India.

Hockey India President Dilip Tirkey expressed his enthusiasm and stated: "This bilateral series against Germany will be a remarkable showcase of world-class hockey. Both India and Germany have a rich history in the sport, and this series will give fans an opportunity to witness an intense competition between two of the most formidable teams in the world.

During the body search, authorities also recovered 10 pieces of plastic ziplock and another three small sachets containing the same illegal drugs.

A total of 600 grams of shabu was recovered from the suspect, who was facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
